Nicole has a passion for helping people and a dedication to delivering a quality client experience. By building relationships with clients one by one, she makes every client feel like they are our only client.
“Our clients are my number one priority,” Nicole says. “I am here because of them. I provide them with dedicated service and support in pursuing their goals.”
Nicole understands the importance of having empathy. “Life events drive your financial decisions – sending a child off to college, retiring, getting married or losing a loved one. You want to know that the people helping you navigate through these times are understanding of your needs and willing to lend an ear,” Nicole says.
A financial career spanning more than 25 years
“Several members of my family have been in the financial industry, so it’s like the family business to me,” Nicole says. Following in their footsteps, Nicole started in the mailroom at Merrill Lynch and progressed through a variety of operational roles, including wire operator and operations supervisor, before moving into management as an associate service manager and eventually into a complex management administrative assistant role.
Even after spending 15 years in management, she had never had the chance to work on a team of financial advisors until she was introduced to Patrice and Drew and joined their team in 2019. “I couldn’t ask for a better team to work with. They are very supportive of me,” Nicole says. “This role is fairly new to me, and I love that I learn something almost daily.”
Nicole was elated by the opportunity to serve clients at every phase of their financial journey. Her outgoing, positive personality enables her to easily develop a good rapport with them. She also assists Patrice and Drew with the day-to-day functions of running North Star Wealth Management, handling administrative work, client operational interactions and team management support.
Thoughtful and charitably minded
Fascinated with why and how people think and do what they do, Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Oakland University. She loves engaging with people and getting to know their narratives. Throughout the years, Nicole has worked with various charities. Those that support the research of Lupus are near and dear to her heart. She has co-led Lupus support groups for the Lupus Alliance of America.
Nicole is originally from Utica, Michigan, and today lives in Shelby Township, Michigan, with her husband, Seth (her eighth-grade crush). Nicole successfully co-manages a blended family of four children – Michael, Megan (and son-in-law, Jack), Alayna and Wade. In her free time, Nicole enjoys wine, traveling up north, biking and hiking with her husband and their beloved rough collie, Millie.
